You know that I love love love Brown eggs. I found this beauty in the last batch.
I buy the brand Nellies Nest. Isn't this gorgeous? I have always liked freckles
on folks, and now on eggs.

Love the speckled brown egg. I usually get mine from a nearby farm, so I'm used to getting all sorts of shapes and colours. X
That's a pretty freckled egg. I had freckles when I was a kid and to this day my arms and legs don't tan they get hundreds of freckles that sort of blend together instead.
I too like freckles:-)
Jules, oh I love the eggs from the farms locally. When we have the opportunity to get those we do. I definately buy the organic one now so much better. I'd love to have a wonderful little flock of my own yardbirds who lay the beautiful all different colors....
GM I had freckles too a kid,especially when out in the sun. I just find these brown eggs so cool, different hues and freckles. Love it.
An egg with personality!
Our son/family next door have chickens, but they are work. They love them, but someone has to do the cleaning and etc.

We keep hens which are a joy to watch but they are indeed hard work to clean up after. I do so love a fresh egg though.
