It's time to make Rosettes! Beautiful Day to you! |
Today in the mail, I received the 1st delivery of the new year, of 100% natural beeswax.
This was the bounty, Beautiful rich, aromatic golden ingots, arn't they pretty with their variation in color and shades? Rather than buying a 1 lb block, which takes a very long time to melt down, I ordered these this time, I received 20 1oz ingots, that should make 70+ rosettes.
I can melt down what I need,as I need them. I'll be making some Rosettes .At a later date those will be made into votive candles. But first, the pretty, aromatic Rosettes. I'll be adding these to my shoppe inventory soon.
Amazing creatures those Honeybees, they are hard workers, not only in the hive, but about out in nature pollinating and gathering pollen to make wonderful golden Honey & Beeswax.

ReplyDeleteAnd wondering where that line, came from??? "Minding my bees wax..."
Of course, it sounds like "Minding my business." But... Must look this up. Bet there is more to it, than just the similarity in sound, of the last word.

Of course there should be rosettes first ~ perfect for your little place here! They would be nice to keep our threads from knotting!
ReplyDeleteI'm considering making beeswax candles for next Christmas (and for ourselves too). I need to look into that. I think our Hobby Lobby would have molds too.
