I'm an early riser this morning

Good Morning
I'ts 5:30 am,
dark and 29 degrees.

This week, it's to be in the 50's...no wonder everybody gets sick, my mother used to call this Fools Weather. You let up on the winter gear, and sometimes you see folks in shorts....
Feeling a bit more energetic, and taking it easy, it was a humdinger. Thankful I got it at the end of the Holidays. Tree still needs taken down, probably this weekend.
Waiting....on the yarn scheduled for tomorrow.

I'll be making coffee in a few minutes and soon DH & yongest/tallest will be and begin their day. I;m going to move around smartley today. I've got an overnight sourdough in the oven rising, and today we will have Minestrone soup and bread for supper.

I really like the early morning the best, it's quiet even here in the city.A new day filled with promise. Are you a sunrise or sunset person? I like them both, but prefer the rise. Now, if I lived near an Ocean on the beach it would be the set.

Well, whatever you do today enjoy what you can of it, even those most mundane tasks. For their is joy in it all.

A previous sunrise around last year at this time.

I am a fan of both sun rise and sun fall making for some amazing photos.

Used to get up early, before the family. I loved that quiet time, to myself.

For some time now, I get up later. Plus, I now need 9 hours sleep a night. Instead of 8. But with age, come trips to the "potty," during the night. Which disrupt sleep, so I can see how my now 9 hours, can be equivalent to my former 8 hours.

Glad you are feeling better.

I was up at 3am Monday and 5am today (Tues). I get started so much faster, with computer down time early morning and craft time late afternoon. Love the photo of the sunrise. Beautiful!

I don't think I can choose between sunrises and sunsets. They're both awesome.
Glad you're feeling better and have your energy back. Soup and freshly baked bread sounds great. I already have today's supper planned but tomorrow it will be soup and bread for us. You've inspired me.
