Oh how I love the fall.
This is a large flag we purchased a few years ago now. Isn't he just the sweetest?
I love Scarecrows.
Normally, I will display this in the front window, it has never hung outside, one it would get stolen, and two it would be exposed to the elements.
I have to admit, I broke open the fall tub of lovliness and let all my fall decorations be free, I don't have an over abundance of items, but the few I have bring me joy, I have a few outside, and some inside. Fall goes so quickly, it couldn't hurt to break it out just a little early.
Beef stroganoff in the slow cooker, I bought some beef bones and made the broth, and froze a trayof them for another time. It will simmer along, and we'll have it tomorrow when the hungry camper comes home. I'm making a kiwi lime pie for desert first time for everything. By request.
Having a quiet cuppa this morning, setting my remaining plans for the day. DH is at the food pantry with the scouts helping to unload the truck at the church. He'll be home soon, and then we will begin the day.
Enjoy your beautiful weekend.

I love the scarecrow flag. Don't blame you for keeping it inside. Flags get really ragged looking when left outside. Bet it's pretty in the window. I love fall too. I was just sitting on the porch thinking how to decorate it. Faith, I tried to answer your question on my blog. In case you had already checked back, I forgot one of the most important things in rooting cuttings, so I added more to my reply. Thank you visiting and commenting.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet flag. I don't think it's too soon to begin decorating for Fall but then I'm the one who starts putting out Christmas things at the start of November! And baking for Christmas; do you love that too?
ReplyDeleteI have a pot of tomato/barley/black bean and lentil soup simmering today. It's been cool and cloudy all day but next week we're back to hot weather. Not to my liking I'm afraid.
I've never made a lime pie, we're more lemon pie lovers around here except DH prefers Cool Whip on it rather than meringue.
Have a blessed Sunday. GM
Yes, people are agreeing with me. :-) Autumn has arrived!!!
