A nice trip to JoAnn's with coupon in hand yielded me a nice candle mold for $5.00. I picked up 2 skeins of Sugar & Cream Cotton Yarn, one is cream colored, but looks like a soft butter color, the other is a Damask Ombre. Thought it might make pretty placemats....hmm maybe.I went in for the candle mold, and came out with extra's...darn it! Should not have gone down the yarn isle rabbit hole.....I don't need any more. I didn't put my blinders on.

At the entrance of the store they had a 70% sale on various herbs and plants to grow. I've been looking for a Rosemary plant, and so I picked one up for 7.99 regular 25.00, it's seed and dirt? I can't imagine anyone would pay that much to begin with, which is why they are on sale now...
A quick stop at the library to pick up a book about bee keeping. My son is showing an interest, I thought we could get informed before making a decision.

I love the colour of the soft creamy yarn. Whatever you make with it will be lovely. I hope your Rosemary plant thrives. And that the plans for maybe bee keeping seem feasible.
It was a quiet day here. I have an infected eye ( probably a sty forming) so haven't been doing much. I did make a pot of veg. soup for tomorrow, and 2 small pots of jam with some free plums that were given to us.

Coupons are always great right? Yarn has gone up over the years in price. I wanted to pick some up at Micheal's but the cotton yarn balls were more than $2 each. Yikes. Even Wal-mart went up. We are finally getting some rain here now too.

It is hard to go in a store for just one thing...and not look around. I need blinders every time. :) The yarn is so pretty. Sure wish I knew how to crochet.
