I say that to my boys all the time, they just look at me with that teenage/young adult look, the first time I said to them they said What's That?  I tell them it's the 1970's version of Alexa or whoever.

Ah...the youth is WASTED on the young, how many times have you heard that?

 I dare say that I am in a funk of some kind. Ever get like that?

Can't seem to get to enthusiastic about to much lately. Everything is a chore. I did manage to get my hair brushed and put up, and put in some pearl earrings. I love pearls. Why wait for an occasion to wear them I said to myself, they sit in the jewelry box waiting for an "event". I got out of bed today...

that is my event. I always feel better after I brush my hair and put on earrings.  I don't wear makeup.

Maybe today will be that day...but oh bother...the laundry basket is there, and dish fairy is where is that dish fairy?  I want to sit and move the hook. Patience I say to my self  it will all get done in good time why rush? Sit and enjoy your coffee and quiet time. All in good time.

So....

Enjoying a cuppa and listening to the birds, they are happy, it's raining, they can have a bath, and collect some worms. We've had construction on the street all week, it's been very noisy with dump trucks and tractors, I think they are working on the gas lines. Today they are not here, something I am thankful for. 

I was just sitting, not thinking and then I put that picture up there. Oh....the beach.....I love the beach, and have only been a few times in my life. I long to go....anybody ever been to Sanibel Island? The seashell capital of the world they say....I wish that I could be like Samantha on Bewitched remember her? she was lovely, anyway....a twitch of the nose and I'm off.

Timing, everything is timing, timing schmiming! 

For all intents and purposes I have the shrug/vest completed. I may redo the sleeve edging, and then tie up the loose ends and call it a day. Hopefully by the end of next week it will be in my Ravelry shop.
