Greetings, from a very cold NE Ohio 9 degrees in March no less.
Oh well Spring is around the corner, or so they say eventually it will arrive, four seasons every year.
So our last visit, I shared with you a design for a cowl I made Today, I'm going to tell you a little bit about a project I have been working on for about 1 month. I had initially began this with a 1 lb of yarn, discounted yarn at Pat Catans, Darice was the brand. I must admit I am a yarn snob...
because I really like Caron Simply Soft, and that is what is in the old stash bucket, and I have discovered Yarn Bee Soft Secret by Hobby Lobby, just as lovely, and every so soft.
So actually I am working on the 2nd version, the first one the yarn/finsihed project was too stiff and scratchy for me. I am a tactile I guess.
I watch Little House on the Prairie, and I saw something which I thought was so lovely. And have set out to try to replicate it. Replaying the video clip over and over trying to at first getting the stitches I thought comprised the pattern. I think I got it. I'm working on the trim, armhole, and neck edging..it will be close facsimilie, I think. I hope I can pull it off, but if I don't it's still a lovely item.

I told you a while back, that I want Blogger to flourish again, there is room for creativity and communication here, not like FB. And so I am happy when I get a new follower who is a fellow blogger, and we have shared interest, and they actually take the time to leave a comment and contribute. Made my day.
So thank you Jen.....
I like to promote other bloggers, especially when they are followers...
so stop and say hi to Jen.
love that title....it creates a visual in my mind, a restful peace ful visit in the tall pines gently swishing with the wind, and sippin hot chocolate....I always say...simple joy are abundant we only need to observe and look up. They are there every second of the day.

Hi Jennifer,
I did the same thing, left the blog for a while and it's not the same anywhere else. I miss alot of my blogger friends been doing this for a while and you make friends with people, they have moved on to "all that jazz"that's out there, I hope they come back. I really appreciate that you took the time to leave a comment. I agree the kind of friends you acquire here are quite different from the "other" places. It's not about numbers or followers, just nice folks. PS. I like your Jed Clampett reference....he's alright with me, and his kin too.
Sandra, wow so nice of you to pop over, thank you for the nice comment and for following..I appreciate it.
