It looks more like fall today

We got some lovely gentle rain, and it is cloudy!

Waiting for the frost for my zone 6B to plant fall garlic.

Wouldn't this be a lovely backyard?

Leaves are still green on the trees, some have brown leaves most likely because we've had no rain.

I do hope for a glimpse of the beautiful fall colors, and for a long fall before we begin winter.

We picked up some apples for pie this weekend, they have been peeled and sliced, flash frozen and placed in zip lock bags for when I am ready to make a pie.

Faith, I hope you get a frost soon. We had another one last night, but tonight should be okay. I love the colours of fall, but it never seems to last very long here.

God bless.

It's the same here with leaves still mostly green. The ground is littered with leaves that have gotten too dry and fell. m I hope we get some colour before winter sets in.
Apple pie sounds like a great idea. Along with the pumpkin pies
( our Thanksgiving is coming up very soon).

A little gentle rain is always welcome, isn't it, especially with all the dry weather? That backyard picture really is lovely, a perfect, cozy fall spot. It's smart to freeze those apple slices now, a great way to be ready for pie season when the mood strikes. I hope you get those beautiful, long fall colors you're wishing for.

No, it really doesn't Jackie, why is that? It still is my favorite, next to spring.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Granny Marigold. This is my favorite Holiday, the house smells so good.

Thank you for popping in Melody! It has cooled down some, and that signals fall, and leaves may indeed change. Beautiful!
