Waiting for a yarn delivery

I'm always waiting for something, might as well be yarn right?

For the better half of October, I've crocheted nothing. Not by choice I suppose. I haul out my yarn & hook everyday, expecting that some wonderful idea will jump onto my hook. Waiting....see? It's been a very odd month, very ill at ease and ansy. I hope it passes soon. I don't like it.

I've not completed anything since I made the pumpkins. saw a really nice shawl which I considered over a few days  and finally decided to make it. I ordered the yarn as directed by the pattern with no substitutions at the craft store. It is a special DK, 3 weight. I ordered 3 balls from LoveCrafts, and so the shawl having the exact same yarn, hook and  instructions have little chance of coming out somewhat not the way it should, which happens often to me.

The only thing I did different was the color selection, it is the Outlander Shawl, and while I never watched a single episode, I like the shawl. we'll see.  If you are interest click link below.:

I'm going back and forth about blogs. When I began this blog it was intended to talk about ALL the things which I fond of, the title is misleading. At that time 14 years ago I did want to crochet by the sea, two of my favorite things. So, for now because this blog has been around for 14 yrs, it is now an old friend, and I don't want to change anything.

Well that's my story today, I'm stickn to it!

Your colour scheme for the shawl sounds lovely. I hope you post a picture of it once you start.

God bless.

I'm looking for new stitch markers that are easier to clip on the yarn and off again. I am still crocheting a blanket for one of the kids (started it last year, ha ha!).
